Erfgoedplus.be is in continous evolution. More collections will be added to the database, more types of heritage will be described, more partners will contribute.
Thus you will be able to find ever more information in Erfgoedplus.be!
Future
At this moment, the database contains mainly information about religious or museum objects. However, Erfgoedplus.be will expand to offer information about a much wider range of heritage: movable, immovable and intangible.
Collaboration with many partners is required to implement Erfgoedplus.be.
Several extensions are planned over the following years:

expansion of the database with information about other types of heritage: documents, publications, buildings, landscapes, intangible heritage,…

adaptation of the website and Erfgoedregister for these other types of heritage

the subjects of pictures can be described in detail in a standardized manner

different descriptions of the same object can be explicitly linked where relevant

further expansion of the ontology: a well structured list of persons and places that gives a better view on the cultural-historical background

expansion of the thesauri used (standardized structured lists of keywords)
