Seminar The Digital Future of Cultural Heritage
Access to Enriched Cultural Heritage Information Using Semantic Web Technology
Leuven, Belgium, 21 January 2010
Since May 2009, Erfgoedplus.be has offered public access to information about cultural heritage by means of Semantic Web technology. There are but few comparable applications on the Web so far. Therefore, we wish to share the experience of Erfgoedplus.be.
The seminar addresses a selection of technical issues and their applications. Thus, heritage managers are enabled to understand the benefits and requirements of the Semantic Web, in direct relation to their own situation.
Handouts of the keynote speakers and other seminar documents are available on this webpage. Keynote handouts can be downloaded by clicking on the title in the programme. Other documents are available for download at the bottom of the page.
